Aloha!
I’m Liz, and it is lovely to meet you! I’m a natural light photographer on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii. While photography has been my chosen work since 2008, it hardly seems like it, since my biggest passion is to spend time with PEOPLE! What better job is there than to create a work of art out of the beautiful moment I see unfolding before me? I’m so blessed to be able to combine my love of people with my love of capturing moments.
What do I love? Lots of people, lots of things.
> MY MAN. My tall-blonde-and-handsome husband who I met during college in 2004. Yep, he swept me off my feet, and still does, and we just hit 16 years of marriage!
> MY KEIKI. I’m in absolute ridiculous love with my four (not-so) little ones: Truitt (11), Brave (8), Amaris (6), & Nakoa (3). Yes!…3 boys, and 1 girl! We surf, hike, skateboard, play ukulele, adventure endlessly, and explore new places always. We believe ohana is an abundant gift.
> THE ONE who gave His life for mine and made it possible for me to live abundantly, freely, and fully- Jesus.
> THIS ISLAND. I love this island life. Having lived in Hawai’i for over a decade, it’s now truly my home & I’m in my element.
> All The People In All The Land. I’m a question-asker to a fault because I genuinely want to know your entire life story, and how you became who you are. Everyone is a friend!
> Fun Fact About Me: I’m a Pastor’s wife! But we fell in love with our local church years before we stepped into full-time ministry.
> I love fitness + CrossFit (the gym is my second home), all things bohemian, sweet tea, thunderstorms, mauka & makai, being awake LONG before the sun, big earrings, the smell of the seasons changing, homeschooling my keiki, jumping off cliffs into the ocean, adventuring to unseen places in the islands, reading, and many, many other things.
…I DON’T love chocolate or gardening or knitting or reupholstering… I don’t even love crafts. That’s all there is to say. What kind of mom doesn’t love crafts? The artist in me clearly puts all of her energy into photography and nothing else! Sorry kids, this mama won’t be making a house out of popsicle sticks or marshmallows. *For the record, I do love the folks who love crafts, and I’m in awe of your abilities!
Enough about what I love- I want to meet you and find out what YOU love. I believe every person has been created with a purpose, which means we are all quite different from each other, which makes this life thing so much fun! Beauty can and will be found in every person I photograph, and I would love nothing more than to get to know your heart, while giving you photographs that reflect the very beauty of your life.
